A friend of mine mentionned last week that hydroxycut really worked for her?

what are your experiences with it?

what routines did you follow, and what were your results?

Hydroxycut was awesome when it was packing ephedra. I used to take it when I was in the Army, never had any issues. Without the ephedra, I can't see it doing much though. Exercise and a proper diet is all you really need TBH.

Supplements are mostly all mental anyways, some actually do something, but it really depends on your personal body chemistry and what chemicals are in the supplement. Some work great for some people and don't do anything for others. I think it's because it's 99% mental. You take a new supplement and hit the gym hard one week, the results can be amazing... was it because of the supplement or because you pushed yourself? Or vice versa.

Just exercise, eat right and stay motivated... it'll all come together eventually.

Thanks.. I was more wondering because I was worried about her, not because I wanted to try it.

She told me she was using it, and I remembered that I had heard something about it a while ago, and jsut wanted to make sure it was safe.

Yeah, they removed the ephedra. That's what made it dangerous (and effective). Ephedra would allow you to push a lot harder than you normally would, basically ignoring the warning signs that your body has in place for a reason. People would over-exert themselves and die occasionally. Pushing themselves too hard and too fast.

I was in phenomenal shape in the Army and rarely came close to pushing my limits. It was awesome because after a long, hard work day... I would still have the energy to work out. I used to do push-up (all types), chin-ups and sit-ups/crunches every night in my barracks. That gave me an awesome body. It was nice being able to take my shirt off and have people stare. Hoping to get back there soon enough, now that I'm motivated again.
