NC377 Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Was supposed to meet someone last week and we never arranged anything so I e-mailed to check and was pretty laid back about meeting up another night. The thing is that I didn't really want to meet up anymore (the last time we met wasn't fun and I have been warned that he is a player). He e-mailed back right away and said that he had made other plans later that night, but could meet before. I said the week after was better (thinking that I could delay and knowing that I didn't really want to meet). He kept trying to arrange something, but the days he suggested, I was actually busy. I don't want to play games, but the fact is that I'm not really into him anymore. On the other hand, I don't want to mean, impolite or unfair. Would you bother trying to set something up again even if you aren't interested?
norajane Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 No, just thank him for the offer, but you've changed your mind about getting together.
confused10 Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 You dont need to waste your time seeing someone youre not interested in and you dont need to waste his time stringing him along. but dont just stop communicating with him..just send him a polite email with something along the lines of "thanks, but no thanks"...remember that he has feelings too so try to be nice about it
