nyc_transplant Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Hello everyone, I seem to notice a lot of people in their late 20's having a ring on their middle finger that looks like a wedding ring. What does this mean? Me
NightsInWhiteSatin Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 My ex wears a wedding ring on his middle finger. It was his Grandma's who passed away a few years ago. I suppose by the time most of us reach our late 20's we have lost loved ones and wearing the rings which they wore for the majority of their lives as a symbol of their love is a way of keeping close to them. Or some just for decorative purposes.
IpAncA Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 I use to do that also. Didn't mean anything to me other than it looked better on that finger. Plus it was easier to play with when I was bord. I was never a thumb, pointer, or pinky wearer.

Zapbasket Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 It could be a 2-in-1 strategy? Saying "F*** you" and "I'm married" in one sweet and wordless gesture?
melodymatters Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Either his grandma was an amazon or your ex is tiny. I can't even fit my mom's wedding ring on my pinky. Hahahaha.. I was thinking the same thing !!! "I wake up in the morning ......and tinkle"
