I think not. Are the beautiful women in movies and magazines fat? No. I don't get why it's so taboo to say that people prefer to not date overweight people. I really have to disagree with you, A, particularly because you think a size 6 or 8 is "fat"!! I hate passive aggressive behavior. I haven't met my ideal girl yet. There are women on LS who display some of the personality traits I like, so I know those women are out there, but I don't like to discount any possible positive experience. Physically, I want them to be smaller than me. Mentally, I want them to be intelligent or ambitious. Emotionally, I want them to be honest and assertive.

I really really like the petite long distance runner build, that's the only way I can describe it. That is my type. That is ideal, especially since I like to give girls piggy back rides so they need to be more small than me. And I play a lot of sports, so most girls I meet do fit my type. For example, the girl I was recently seeing but who told me "I'm not over my ex" (and she's not people, I know because she broke up with him for me, red flag, don't need to talk about it here), was a size 00 and 90 lbs. I like em tiny. I just do. Maybe I need to try someone else on for size, a different type. Maybe I'd like it.

That said, I think there are some BEAUTIFUL women with more full figures than the petite I've gone for. I truly find them beautiful. Yet...when I've held them, I didn't feel as attracted?

True, I'm trying to be descriptive and in reality, I haven't known the weight of girls I've dated. In reality I don't know how much a girl may weigh or what size she is unless she offers it to me on her own. The lean runner type has happened to be my type. I assign a number only to attempt more description but it really has no objective value. I judge based on "does this woman look like the type of person who could go on a 5 mile hike and climb a few rocks at the end and not be winded."

Well then, that is just your preference. Nothing wrong with that. As for me, I love tall men! Nicely-built. As long as he is active, I'm fine with it. If I was a lesbian, I'd probably go for someone about my size or petite girls.
