CaliGuy Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Most guys will take a fun 7 over a bitchy 10 any day of the week. I'd take a fun 5 over a drop dead sexy 10 "b*tch" any day of the week.
Timberlane Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 I would also add: *social; interested in being friends with my friends *doesn't rip on me in social settings (lots of women seem to do this to their men for some reason) Those two were big negatives of my ex-wife. She would get bitchy and condescending around her parents and friends sometimes. Nearly drove me to strangle her. And was she ever a cool customer with my friends sometimes. Glad the girl I am seeing now was a hit with my best friend and never says a negative word or throws a stern look, so far that is.
alterego1234 Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Some additions after checking my list: + No STD's + Doesn't want any more kids + Gets along with my kids + Pro-life
spookie Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Some additions after checking my list: + No STD's + Doesn't want any more kids + Gets along with my kids + Pro-life What happens when you accidentally knock up this pro-life anti-kid dreamgirl?
Touche Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 What happens when you accidentally knock up this pro-life anti-kid dreamgirl? :laugh:Ha, you just beat me to it, spookie! I was going to ask the same thing. How does THAT work! Better double up on the condoms.

Author shadowplay Posted October 3, 2007 Author Posted October 3, 2007 trustworthyloyalhelpfulfriendlycourteouskindobedientcheerfulthriftybravecleanreverent Obedient? With a few exceptions this list seems to be describing a dog more than a woman.
Touche Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Trimmer, are you talking about a dog or a woman here?
Touche Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Obedient? With a few exceptions this list seems to be describing a dog more than a woman. We posted the same thing pretty much at the same time. I'm having a lot of ESP moments on this thread!
lonelybird Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 I want to add "virtue women" is an ideal girl anyone is a favorite in God's eyes, should be ideal in men's eyes :bunny: run *****
tanbark813 Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Obedient? With a few exceptions this list seems to be describing a dog more than a woman. Dogs can't bring beer from the fridge and they're horrible in the kitchen.
Touche Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Dogs can't bring beer from the fridge and they're horrible in the kitchen. Are they any better in the bedroom?
Trimmer Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Trimmer, are you talking about a dog or a woman here? Obedient? With a few exceptions this list seems to be describing a dog more than a woman. This is from the scouting oath of the Boy Scouts of America (or I guess they call it "Scouting USA" now...) I thought it might be a bit too obscure a joke....
Trialbyfire Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 So Trimmer, your ideal woman must swear feality to you, be able to hunt food in the great outdoors for both of you and also be able to make a fire without using any chemical intervention?
tanbark813 Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Are they any better in the bedroom? I don't know. Ask your husband.
lino Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 My ideal woman would respect & love me as much as I do her. Not more, not less. What I really DON'T want are girls that play games. All this playing hard to get/acting too cool sh*t really turns me off. I seem to attract only these girls though I'd happily take a girl who is a bit needy after what I've been through, I've never had one of them. And if you read through threads like this you'll see that women aren't exempt from desiring physical attractiveness: http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t130744/ Eyebrow requirements for Christ's sake! Get off your high horses, vag-owners. Can't be said any better. I can admit without a problem that physical attraction is a top priority for me. Thin girls do nothing for me though, I prefer athletic or curvy/busty women. My order of preference is: 1. physically attractive 2. fun 3. honest 4. confident 5. smart
Touche Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 This is from the scouting oath of the Boy Scouts of America (or I guess they call it "Scouting USA" now...) I thought it might be a bit too obscure a joke.... I should be ashamed of myself...I'll just blame it on my exhaustion. I came back from my son's Boy Scout meeting only a few hours ago. I thought those qualities sounded familiar! Thanks for the laughs before bedtime!
underpants Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 trustworthyloyalhelpfulfriendlycourteouskindobedientcheerfulthriftybravecleanreverent "reverent"... ...I need more clarification. Now with the whole dog analogy. I can see how you did not understand about cat food and kitty litter during sex. Makes purrfect sense now.
Touche Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 I don't know. Ask your husband. Oooooohhhhh, not nice. Not nice at all. (And I'm too tired to think of a clever come back!
Trimmer Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Seriously, I can never answer the list of my "ideal woman" because for me, it starts with: (a) confident, (b) shows an interest in spending time with me, ...and everything else from there, we make up as we go. I would no more wish to order an ideal woman from a catalog of features than I would want the next week of my life plotted out in advance, moment by moment with precision and certainty. If a woman knows who she is, and is comfortable with that, then there's a pretty good chance I'm going to enjoy sitting across the table from her, sipping coffee, tea, wine, or whatever, and talking for a couple of hours. Beyond that is the great and scary and wonderful unknown.
johan Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 "reverent"... ...I need more clarification. It's the opposite of irreverent, which you seem to have nailed. And I guess that makes you less-than-ideal, but only just.
Pyro Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Oh whatever all guys also want a girl that's thin and hot. Its true that I have to be attracted to her in some way and I do prefer a woman that makes an attempt to stay in shape and live a healthy life, but personality will always trump looks.
underpants Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 I guess that makes you less-than-ideal, but only just. Story of my life.
Pyro Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 That's kinda how I feel, I think it goes like this 1. thin 2. pretty 3. confident 4. fun 5. honest 6. smart Not true for us all. Not all of us are looking for a trophy wife/GF. More important things to consider IMO.
