Meanmistermustard Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 I went out with a girl today for the first time after chatting on-line for a little over a week. We had a really excellent two hour conversation and there were lots of laughs and smiles. The time went by quickly! But then when it came time to end the date, I shook her hand even though I wanted to give her a hug. I have no idea why I did such a lame thing-my guess is that this is the first woman I've met since my ex that I felt a connection towards. Maybe a little shy, or perhaps still have some hurt to work out. I e-mailed her and told her I had a great time and that I would call her, but I could tell she was a little shocked I didn't do more at the end of the date. My only hope is that my good first impression might salvage me because I think this girl is very cool. I'm thinking best course of action is call tomorrow and set up another date ASAP to let her know I'm interested. What do you guys think?
Ariadne Posted September 29, 2007 Posted September 29, 2007 Hey, I e-mailed her and told her I had a great time and that I would call her, but I could tell she was a little shocked I didn't do more at the end of the date. If she liked you, she is not going to get turned off by that. Just do things at your own pace, don't worry about it. Ariadne
