fiyah Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 ...should you say: a) can i take you out on a date saturday nite? b) wanna go see a movie or somethin saturday nite? basically, do you have to label it as a "date" if you're interested and trying to get to know her a little better?
Saxis Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 I wouldn't say you HAVE to label it as a date, but it does make your intentions clear...
tanbark813 Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Saying "date" specifically would sound awkward. b is better than a in your examples but even better would be to leave out the "or something". Have something specific in mind.
LoveLace Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Well as a girl, both a and b would be acceptable to me, but B is probably better. "B" should make it obvious that it's a date, plus you have a specific idea in mind there...how about "would like to do dinner and a movie Saturday night?"
