precious1357 Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 FYI, I have a friend who married a man while he was living with another woman. Married man lived with the mother of his children (not his wife) for 14 years while the real wife lived alone. After all his children by the other woman were adults, he moved with wife. How about that??? Any responses???
LucreziaBorgia Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Sounds like something you read about in another culture. I guess my only curiosity is how everyone handled it. How did OW handle it when he got married? Why didn't he marry OW since he was with her first? How did W handle it when he was living with OW? Was he having sex with both women? Did he have overnighters with his W and go home to OW? How did OW feel when MM went to live with his W? How were the children brought up? Did they consider their father's W to be part of the family? How did W feel toward OW's children? Was everything out in the open between all parties in a polygamous and polyamorous environment?

KATANYA Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Wow.......I guess my only question was did the W have an OM?
OWoman Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Sounds like something you read about in another culture. Yes! Or a marriage of convenience - so the "W" could get a visa / access to medical benefits / whatever... while not threatening the R he had with the OW. But in that case, I suppose, he wouldn't have gone to live with the "W" afterward...?
Marielle Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 It s just the same. Only change the names ow trade it for W, and he LEAVES at the end.
