Hi guys, just want your thoughts and opinions. My GF of 8 months ( been living together for 5), has gone overseas on a contiki tour for 6.5 weeks. I'm really struggling now, 1.5 weeks into the trip, all i can think about is her and what she is up to. I know she has been out quite a few night till 4am or such drinking and partying. When i text her sometimes i don't even get a reply, then other times, usuall when she is drunk she sends me message after message telling me how much she loves me. But when i talk to her she mostly seems like she is distracted and is distant. I'm just wondering if it's because i'm here working day in day out, same old same old type of things that i'm getting a bit jealous and worried. Or should i realise that she is taking in a whole new part of the world (europe) and has lots of things going on to distract her?? What can i do to pass the time more quickly/ stop thinking about her so much so i don't get jealous and worried. I indirectly asked her if there were any "nice" guys on the tour by asking about her single friend that she is travelling with and she pretty much answered that they were all just really young and unsuitable, that made me feel better but i'm still a little worried after all the contiki stories i have heard. any advice or opinions woul be great.

Dave,

Yeah, those contiki tours.... I'd be worried too! Probably not what you want to hear... but a good friend of mine, his GF went on one and cheated on him a couple times. She really doesnt seem like the type, but it still happened.

Just be really honest with her in how you feel. I'd wait till she gets back though. Just let her know you felt like she was really distant and that you were not important to her. That you dont appreciate that! Don't be a doormat stand up for how you feel!
