I'm bored, just thought I'd throw the question out there. Feel free to elaborate with celebrity examples.

Mine is 5'8 - 5'11, thick longish straight dark hair, big dark eyes, and broad shoulders.

I guess mine is in between 5'9"-6'3", medium to tan skin, brown eyes (but really eye color isn't that big of a deal), medium brown to black hair, and in good shape.

Posted

I like about 5'6" and 140 lbs. Long hair. Redhead is hot, but I'm not really particular about hair. I like freckles. Boob size not important as long as it's proportionate.

6'+, lean and athletic. Keep in mind that this is a wish list and is negotiable if the intellectual and emotional aspects are all there. Most importantly, a chipless man.

I like big butts and I cannot lie:)

tall dark and handsome do for me every time.

although i'm acutely aware that i shouldn't choose this anymore - so i appreciate them from afar - but know better now than to go for them.

never did like really slim men... give me something to hold on to.

Tall, thin, and with hair. And good bone structure : strong jaw, cheek, brow bones. Young Keith Richards would be ideal

I would say he's got a big chip on his shoulders...so...a big resounding NO!!

Urrhhmmm i prefer over 6' foot but i had children with a man who was 5'8". I did prefer dark hair but now have my eye on a blonde!

Eye colour dosen't really matter to me ... i think that means anything goes!! .... but i don't like skinny men at all, needs to be a little meaty:love::love::p

I used to be very much a fan of cute, mischievous faces of the Brad Pitt variety. Nowadays I see pictures of him and it's a case of "great pecs, but the pouty rosebud lips are a bit off-putting."

As I get older, I see more appeal in the stern or mournful charm of Liam Neeson and Colin Firth. For pure sex appeal, then it's Russell Crowe or Sean Bean.

Ioan Gruffudd is utterly delectable in every way:

I've thought about this on many occasions. While in my "selfish" mid-life crisis, probably more than I should have.

For me I have no particular physical type. I have to say that I do gravitate toward the lower half of the female form and care much less about breasts other than to say that too large is a turn off to me. That being said, I think for me what attracts me to a woman is that they are unique in some way... not cookie-cutter perfect like so many women try to be. If a woman's body is just a little different, or their facial structure makes them unique in some way I am more attracted to them. For example, my wifes nose is very unique, which sets her apart from others. She never had the body that I would consider ideal, but her face was distinctive enough that it made all the difference. I was attracted to it immediately.

I have been attracted to all kinds of different physical types, though. What matters is that when you throw them all of the features together, the woman it comes together in an attractive way. That can happen in millions of combinations.

Johnny Depp would be mine from past years. My boyfriend now, though is taller, blonde and more muscular. He looks like a mix between Jason Lewis (Smith on Sex and the City) and Aaron Eckhart. I would have to say that he's my type now.

i like my men solid, like i'm holding on to an oak tree. hair, the darker the better. eyes, blue.

i also must fit comfortably into the crook of his arm and/or shoulder.

6'1"/6'2" is probably my ideal height on a guy. (I'm 5'6") I like feeling protected and small, but too tall and I feel like a munchkin next to him. Slim, athletic build but not overly muscular. Heath Ledger and Josh Hartnett have ideal bodies iirc.

Hair color isn't so important to me, but all other things being equal I probably prefer it dark. I love thick hair I can run my hands through. What else... Large, intelligent eyes, expressive features, thick brows, sweet smile, broad shoulders, masculine hands, well-defined jaw, slightly flared nostrils, chiselled nose, full lower lip.

Eyes are definitely the most important feature to me. There are two specific types of male eyes that make my heart melt. One is the slightly slitty, almost Asiatic Christian Bale/young Brando type where the upper eyelid crease is mostly obscured from view. The other is the dark, somewhat droopy, puppy dog, Mediterranean type like Al Pacino had in his Godfather days.

And well-defined, dark brows to frame those perfect peepers are an absolute must.

As long as she tries to stay in shape and remain healthy, then its all good.

Height, eyes, hair,................means nothing to me.

What about thinning hair with sloopy shoulders and tired, sad looking eyes?

And broke?

Any takers?

I'm actually surprised that so many women mention height. I'm a girl and 5'8 and I prefer someone just a little taller (though much bigger in the shoulders) than I am. With much taller guys I feel like I can't read their face well and I'm aware of the fact that we're literally looking at the world from different points of view.

I think SG described it to perfection about why some women like tall men. When they put their arms around you, you feel instinctively more safe and protected. It's very primordial and not terribly logical.

Especially given that fighting classes are arranged by weight rather than height.
