beangirl46 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 I've just begun seeing a guy who is so incredible. He is so everything. I'm beside myself-- no other guy has been this great. I partly even wonder if I'll be "good enough" for him, and I've certainly never wondered that before! We've been talking for 5 weeks so far. Tonight while we talked on the phone, it got a little weird, for the first time. It's because I really like him, and felt like saying affectionate things to him, but don't want to "rush." I don't want to start acting strange suddenly, as we had a great dynamic going on. But I just want to jump him, or say something, or make it special somehow. Should I forget all restraint and just go for it, or should I slowly take it up a notch but let him be the aggressor? I just don't know what to do.

Take it up a notch and let him be the aggressor. I understand the urge to just go for it, but it's so much better if you let it happen on his timetable - guys don't react well to being rushed.
Aintayankee Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 give him a kiss on the cheek when you hug him goodbye. Do that affectionate stuff, like hold him and tuck your head under his chin, or on his neck. Pet/touch his hair. Hold his hand. Or mabye lay down and use his lap for a pillow. Or just sit in his lap. And if you are making out with him eventually, tell him you really like him, in that soft, almost wisper, sexy voice. It's bound to work.
