confused479 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Help me...the whole purpose of me registering was to get some advice. I can't get over my ex-girlfriend. We went out for about 4-5 months and after 2 months I still can't get over her. I'm not making any progress at all. I'm only 14 and I don't want this to hinder my life and my grades but I want her back so much. I could list a million reasons why I love her but it won't make even a slight difference. She likes someone else and I'm tired of worrying that at any moment, someone's going to take her away. I'm tired of being her shoulder to cry on and always, unconditionally putting her feelings before mines. I'm tired of my feelings fluctuating from anger to sadness (mostly sadness).
Yamaha Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 You have to practice NC and do not be her shoulder to cry on or her friend ( at least for the time being ). Hang with friends and start looking for someone else to be your love interest. You'll be surprised how quick you forget her when you have someone else that your interested in.
Scorpio13c Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Hey Confused, I know how you feel, I've been there when I was your age. Just keep telling yourself "Everything will be O.K.", keep repeating it & i promise you'll start to feel better! From now on, you WON"T be her shoulder to cry on O.K.? Don't talk to her anymore, then you may see her start to change. In the mean time, hang with your buds & talk to other girls. You'll be fine guy, you know why? Because you are "The Man"! Keep posting here, there are lots of people who will help you feel better. We all go/have been through, what you are going through. Be Strong! Scorp
