In January I met this girl in school. After talking to her for about a month, I really started to like her. She was always very flirty around me and then started to call me "pumpkin". Soon after I got her phone number and started calling her. The first time I called her she sounded so happy and shouted "PUMPKIN!". As time went on, I asked to Senior Prom and she said yes. After the dance, we started talking less and lost contact for about two months.

When I recently called her again, she said "you sound different, more mature and independent". According to my friend, she used to think I was very immature. Then we proceeded to chat it up for two hours. A few days later, I visited her at her school, she seemed really excited about it because I haven't seen her in three months before that. She kept hugging on me and getting really close to my face. As I left, she kissed me on the cheek and "said, when is the next time I can see you?" I told her sometime soon. Then I called her later and I told her we needed to hang out and she agreed. So a few days later we went to play mini-golf. This is the part that worries me, she paid for both of us. She told me that she invited me and I can't tell anyone that she paid. I kept asking her if she was sure and she kept on insisting. As she left she wanted me to talk to her mom and say hi. I did. I invited her to a baseball game tomorrow and she said she'd love to go with me.

I have a few worries. She's two years older than me and sometimes it seems like she likes me. A few of my friends have told me she has a crush on me, but I don't know. What do you guys think? I'm pretty sure I'm going to tell her how I feel at the game, or should I just make a move. I've never been this confused before.

Er...yeah...that's really confusing alright.....

Are you in the field of Engineering? IT? Just wondering......

YES THIS GIRL IS INTERESTED IN YOU!

Dude, never tell a girl how you feel. Not unless you've been with her for over a month at least. Just make the move...what have you got to lose?

Oh I'll make the move with no hesitation. I'm just tired of the "does she like me" thing.

Play it cool like you have, but hold steady on the manners. Open doors for her, and tell her you just can't let her pay for yourself. Just insist that you pay for you, and if she wants her pay for her. Tell her you like her a lot, when you are huggin on eachother, then I think you could pop a kiss on her forhead if you are taller. Just hang out with her casually like that often as comfortable.

It seems like she is most interested in you. If she wasn't it would be kinda messed up on her part to lead you. I think you are in the clear!

She likes you, obviously.

But I think she is more uncomfortable with the age difference than you are, so you have to show more signs of maturity.

Don't let her take all decisions, show some initiative.

The whole paying thing is really a problem for you, huh?

Just show her that you are secure enough to let her pay for stuff, if it makes her happy, why not?

But next time, ofcourse, insist on paying yourself.

When you're at the game, just nonchalantly take her hand and hold it. If she allows that, after awhile, when you're cheering for a home run, put your arm around her shoulders, pull her in for a quick happy hug, then leave it there. If she allows that...umm...I think you have a pretty definitive answer.
