SayHey242007 Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Hi Everyone, I've been reading a lot of the posts which has been helpful during a very confusing time. My gf and I are on hiatus after being together for a year and a half. During that time we hadnt had any problems and have always talked through issues. Of course during this year, she has had a lot of tragedies in her life (loosing a father and other close family member within a short span)..of course I was there for her having gone through the same thing a few years ago. Last Monday it was decided we were going to spend some time apart to refocus on things. She thought that I didnt want the same things as her and that i needed to do some soul searching to find out what i really wanted. I was slated to go away for two-weeks for work ( starting today actually ), she promised that we would talk about things when i got back. Now...I was involved in a serious accident a few days ago....I'm fine...I just have some broken ribs, chest and neck injuries. She got wind of the accident and was devistated and sent me a card. I txted her just to thank her for the card...nothing mroe ( I felt it was the right thing to do ). After she responded, I just sent her a txt mentioning the promotion I got ( I figured I'd break the ice of the formulaic conversation and just mention that ). She responded by saying she was so happy for me...its great news and that i deserve it. I thanked her and left it at that. The thing is, do I wait for our conversation or do I do it now since NC has already been broken? There are a lot of things I need to get out in the open that are potentially crucial resolutions to some of her concerns. The thing is, how do I bring it up? She is going away next week for a few days for work so I was wondering if I should wait until she comes back or just try to do it now?
