ex boyfriend lookssad with his new girlfriend, what does that mean?

My boyfriend broke up with me 10 months ago because he wasn't sure. He wanted to stay friends, but I didn't. We didn't see each other very often, when I bumped into him I always was happy and cheerful. The first couple of that sort of meetings he kept a distance, but now he is very happy to speak to me. Last weekend I bumped into him in the pub and he really made an effort to chat with me, I kept it vry short. My friend said he was watching me the whole time. When his new girlfriend of two months wrapped her arms around him he looked very sad.

What does it mean? I have been very strong and working on myself and doing great things, but to be honest I miss him a lot!

Did his new girlfriend hug him in front of you and he looked sad, or did your friend just tell you that and you didn't see it for yourself?

 

If you saw it yourself, he may have looked sad to spare your feelings, or maybe he looked sad because he was feeling nostalgic, or perhaps he was looking sad to manipulate you in some way. There honestly is no telling.

 

Now... it this is hearsay, chances are good that your friend told you this simply to make you feel better. There is no telling why he would appear sad, or if in fact he looked like that at all.

i agree with LucreziaBorgia, may not have been sad at all. he could have had a few drinks and was feeling sorry for himself. anything!

try not to drive yourself crazy over it because you just dont know for sure. maybe he was sad becaues your happy and hes not happy yet. it doesnt mean he wants you back. maybe he is sad because he misses your friendship. again not because he wants you back. OR maybe it is because he wants you back.

 

the best thing to do is keep doing what your doing and if he truly wants you back he will come to you. nothing can keep a guy away from the girl he wants. dont go to him first because it has to be all him,especially if he broke up with you in the first place.

 

keep doing what your doing. work on yourself. dont set yourself up for heartbreak again.
