BlueEyedSarah Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 I don't really want to go to the doctor about my headache as I think I know whats causes it I just wondered if anyone else gets the same thing and how they deal with it. I used to get this headache where it feels like a line across my forehead, thats the only place it aches is this invisiable line on my forehead. I get this headache when I am tense, worried, anxious, stressed ect. I am suffering hurt, upset and stress in my life and therefor I have recently started suffering from this same headache again.

Blue, have you ever read the book Women's Bodies Womens Minds... This is a good book and may help you with what you are going through. Good Luck.
whichwayisup Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 You have a band headache. I get those alot too, it feels like something tight right across the forehead and everytime you move it throbs and hurts. What you can do is try to destress yourself. Do yoga, walking and deep breathing. Drink alot of water, take advil, stay off of sugars/caffeine and carbs. Eat more fruit, veggies and yoghurt. Get a blood test done, B12 shots CAN help the headaches. As well as taking a multivitamin daily, vitamin C and calcium with vit. D in it too.
BlueEyedSarah Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Thanks for the advice Every morning I take 2 vitiman C 500 and I am going to start takeing vitiman B some time soon.
whichwayisup Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Get a full physical done. If your B12 levels are low, they might ask you to do the shots once a month. Trust me, they work well! If your levels are normal, then just take the B12 orally. YOGA!! Walking and other forms of exercising will help as well.
Illicit Angel Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 I know this is gonna sound weird but its true that if you can stand it masterbation fixes this kind of headache imediately!! It's all to do with hormones and keeping them balanced i read....also it calms you down (de-stress) the quickest..... Just a suggestion :bunny:
TinaW Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 I have headaches all the time - sometimes they are stress headaches, sometimes not. I have never heard that B12 injections can help headaches - is there a reference on this I can read? I would like to look into this. Thanks.
whichwayisup Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 I'm walking proof that the B12 helps, not only with migraines, but energy level too. And during the winter months when SAD sets in, the shots DO help. Just google it. Alot of information about B12 shots will come up.
