Touche Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Now to draw the line between imagination and fantasizing! It's a fine line indeed, isn't it? (You're a bad, bad lion!)
Curmudgeon Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 It's a fine line indeed, isn't it? (You're a bad, bad lion!) But a VERY good Leo!
Trialbyfire Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 This thread is funny. Everyone has their own preferences for hair, both men and women. I'm one of those older women who look like they never cut their hair, although it gets thinned and shaped consistently. It's currently about 3" below the top of my hip bones. Haven't heard any complaints about it. I'm not much for trends, unless classic and what suits me, matches trends.
Curmudgeon Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Actually, I don't think I expressed any opinion about hair length on women. Here it is. I like what looks good and what the woman likes and is comfortable with. Length is not the issue. Depending upon the shape of the face and the features, long hair looks better on some, short or medium hair on others. Mostly, from my perspective, it has to be clean, healthy, cared for and neat. That's about it!
DOA Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 I personally think that long hair is so overrated and too many chicks all have the same looking hair. Long hair is high maintenance and not every chick wants to spend hours curling or straightening her hair to make it look different. And if you don't do anything with it, you just get sick of it after a while coz imo, it gets boring just having a mane hanging off your head like a curtain or tying it up in a ponytail everyday so it doesn't get in your face. I like short hair for the spunk and sazz that it usually exudes. Something about the short cut always makes me think the girl is more exciting, adventurous and cunning. I think boys ought to know that long hair is not the be all and end all of femininity.
tanbark813 Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 long hair is not the be all and end all of femininity. No, but it is, you know, the topic of this thread. Hence the focus.
bish Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 I have long strawberry blond hair and a week ago I was on a date with the the guy I am seeing and my hair was blowing in my face and I said something about needing to get a hair cut. His reaction was "No don't cut it, your long hair is really sexy". I said I was just talking about a trim, lol don't panic! Which made we wonder, what is it about long hair that guys are attracted to? Because with the exception of 80's hair band guys...its what separates a man from a woman. Most men don't like their women with men's haircuts.
Author sweetbutcheeky Posted September 16, 2007 Author Posted September 16, 2007 i've never seen it so cant picture it ... visual example of the same Here ya go, a visual example. Not the best pic but gives you an idea lol

The curtains don't match the carpet if you get my drift.... Daywalker? What does that even mean? Only time I ever died my hair was in high school and that was purple. So yes my curtains do match my carpet! It's called Strawberry Blond because it's a mixture of red and blond, naturally.

Look up the Southpark episode about ginger kids.... and you will find out the meaning of the word "daywalker".
Mezzi Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 I agree with sweetbutcheeky. Shortly before my ex-boyfriend gave me his number I was talking to one of my friends and she was expressing shock at how long my hair had grown. I told her I may give it a little trim. Around two days later my ex called and asked me what I had done for the day. When I told him id just come from the hairdresser his response was "Dont cut your hair!" Immediately I laughed and told him not to fear the long hair was still there. In my opinion/experience guys prefer long hair.
