Teacher's Pet Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 It feels like it was just yesterday when I was ringing in 2007.... Now Fall is arriving....... Just seems like I really wasted this whole year, so far... No "springtime romance" for me (unless you count a week of fooling around with someone in parking lots lol) No "summer of love"..... I'd be happy to settle for a "Fall of Fu**ing" at this point, otherwise, it's going to be a "Winter of Wacking". -tp man of all seasons
2sunny Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 i feel your pain tp! but here it is still summertime and will seem like that for most of the year... ya it's a rough life. -rough rough rough rough! grrrrr
XxBacktoBlackXx Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 HAHAHA, the Fall of ****ing!! I understand what you mean. I have a feeling this season is gonna be a dry one... This reminds me...my best friend and I were joking around yesterday because she told me she hasn't had sex in sooo long and that it would be tempting to find a **** buddy. I told her not to because she'll probably get attached. Then I said to her, maybe I should get a **** buddy, which is kind of funny cause I'm a virgin. ANYWAY, this led us to our new life motto. We've taken our cue from MacBeth: "To **** or not to ****, that is the question". lol Shakespeare knew what he was talking about...or did I quote him wrong?? LOL
Trialbyfire Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I agree. This whole year has just flown by. So much has happened but at the end of the day, for the better. I've learned so much this year about life, love and people. While I wouldn't do it all over again, I don't regret it now, although if you were to ask me even a month ago, my response would have been the exact opposite. tp, we all learn something, every single day. Don't forget to stop and smell the roses, on your way.
climbergirl Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 You haven't wasted the year.....from what I've read it's been a year of enlightenment. Just because you have not been in a relationship doesn't mean it's a wash...I learned just as much not being in one as I have being in one. In the mean time, nobody knows it like you do...have at it!
frd150 Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 What fall?? Its f-ing hot here with red flag warnings (extreme fire danger). Oh crap I live it the hills:eek:. Better get my "ho" and do some brush clearance. seriously time has flown by since the break up. Yeah I miss her but boy have I taken the self improvment thing seriously. Ill show you "S".Boy are you missing out. Go get em tp. Careful though, dont want you to go blind.
Author Teacher's Pet Posted September 13, 2007 Author Posted September 13, 2007 tp, we all learn something, every single day. Don't forget to stop and smell the roses, on your way. Yeah... but the one time I got to stick my face in a woman's flower...... she was nuts! -tp but it was gooood.
Author Teacher's Pet Posted September 13, 2007 Author Posted September 13, 2007 Go get em tp. Careful though, dont want you to go blind. LOL... If I rub this thing any more, a genie will pop out.... -tp i know i used that joke elsewhere here.
Trialbyfire Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Yeah... but the one time I got to stick my face in a woman's flower...... she was nuts! -tp but it was gooood. You never mentioned that your date's name was Rose. -Tbf why oh why?
dropdeadlegs Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Fall.....is this a rumor??? It must be 'cause we don't have "fall' here and it's still friggin summer as far as I'm concerned. We don't have "spring," either. It's summer (9 months) and winter (the remaining three months for those who are math-challenged.) and THAT is a good year. Some years don't have as much differentiation. It rains almost daily, the difference falls in the temperature when that happens. Lately, it's still HOT!

Global warming has moved, changed targets. What is up with that? Raindrops...where are you? I hear you on this fantasy of 'Spring' and 'Fall'. This is simply those five minutes that remind me to reset my clock. Nothing to do with the weather at all.
