Trialbyfire Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Not a day, just one or 2 days in the start as I said if you had read it correctly. I don't know about other ladies but I would prefer the guy who wants to meet the parents than the guy who will run if you mention it, afraid of commitment and just wants to bang a girl! Not just prefer. Embrace.
Author sweetbutcheeky Posted September 14, 2007 Author Posted September 14, 2007 Not just prefer. Embrace. Thank you my fellow sexy smart lady.
Trialbyfire Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Thank you my fellow sexy smart lady. My pleasure darlin'.
Green Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 maybe hes just really horny for you, and wants to completly do you hard
Author sweetbutcheeky Posted September 14, 2007 Author Posted September 14, 2007 maybe hes just really horny for you, and wants to completly do you hard When I was at his place last when we watched a movie he was completely hard and didn't try anything. (could tell when he gave me a hug)
Cad Rake Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 guy must be about 15 years old to be just sittin around with a hardon
Author sweetbutcheeky Posted September 14, 2007 Author Posted September 14, 2007 guy must be about 15 years old to be just sittin around with a hardon Twice that actually and he wasn't acting on it because he respects me. Yes we were kissing and so on but he didn't go father because he knew what I wanted. Why are guys that don't jump the girl, respect their wishes and would like to meet their mother considered a looser or 15?
Author sweetbutcheeky Posted September 14, 2007 Author Posted September 14, 2007 Sometimes it's hard to be a man... Though sometimes a hard man good to be!
Trialbyfire Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Though sometimes a hard man is good to be! It's what I've noticed.
Cad Rake Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Why are guys that don't jump the girl, respect their wishes and would like to meet their mother considered a looser or 15? Because, unless they're Mormon, they could be spending time with women who are putting out. Generally guys would rather have sex than NOT have sex, and so any guy who chooses to hang around a woman who is NOT putting out is either an oddball or is totally clueless. Or Mormon. I have a friend who's 30 and single and Mormon and he was excited that he met 3 women's moms this summer. I guess for Mormons that's like getting laid.

There are men who are patient and enjoy the anticipation. It adds to the purely electric moment of consumption. There are other men who don't have the personal strength to withhold, like a kid in a candy store, who have to have their needs met right now and throw tantrums if not. I'm guessing that sbc and I are both of the mind that we prefer a guy with more internal personal strength but one that isn't afraid to show his desire.

LOL If sex is all your looking for then why stick around if your not getting any. But if the guy is looking for a relationship and wants to find someone who could be worth starting a family with then that is why is is willing to wait. And because he respects the woman. I was watching a tv show the other day and it's a talk show with 3 woman with 3 different perspectives (single, married and divorced). They had a relationship specialist on and he said if you want to find a man who in it for long term tell him that you don't have sex until marriage (even if it's not true) if he stays then you know you found the real deal. He also said that some guys themselves will not have sex with a woman until later down the line because he doesn't want that to be the focus.

News flash: that's been the advice given to women for the past, oh, 10,000 years. And it's true. And any guy who would wait until marriage to "test drive" something he's going to be paying dearly for is, in my book, a sucker and a l:(ser. So there you go.
Trialbyfire Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 You said it girl! I guess that's what stops me from sleeping around. Why settle for the crumbs on the table with meaningless sex, when you can have the banquet of making love with someone you have a strong emotional connection with. I just don't understand but then I'm not one to settle.

I just don't understand but then I'm not one to settle. Why take a crumb when you can have the whole cake! I agree why have sex with anyone when you can make love with someone who will treat you like gold and fulfill all of your desires? With whip cream and a cherry on top!

And this type of treatment will be reciprocated, in spades. Btw, who said anything about marriage? If it ends up with marriage, so be it, but I doubt anyone's in a hurry to get married.
Cad Rake Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 I just don't understand but then I'm not one to settle. That's a great attitude to have, in some cases. If you're attractive, you won't have to settle. If you're not, you'll spend a lot of time alone. Some people are perfectly ok with that.

Cad Rake Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 yep, the trick is to find that person who is into your "own way."
Trialbyfire Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 It's never been a problem finding a like-minded individual but you have to wade through a lot of non-acceptables before you find gold.

Exactly and it doesn't really have to do with how much time they wait and so on, it's their attitude and that they are patient and willing to wait and respect you. (and don't complain and ask when in the meantime!) Anything that makes a woman happy is a turn on and will definatly be reciprocated! That was just the example that that therapist gave, though I don't think he meant wait until marriage but to say something like that that to weed out the jerks.
