clandestinidad Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 I had a crush/quasi relationship/friendship with someone from LS. I thought it was a pretty good time, until he flaked out on me. He gave me some reason...but who knows what the real reason(s) for it were, ya know? But because of that whole stupid situation, I met someone else who is absolutely PERFECT for me!! We had a baby a few months ago and life is WONDERFUL!!!
wwjd Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 anyways, yea, i've had a few LS crushes--4, to be exact. 3 of them are just silly crushes in that i think those particular members are super sweet and really funny, in the case of 2 of them. the other one is a very bizarre creature that roams LS making disturbing comments for shock value. actually, i think he is very disturbing and disturbed himself, to tell the truth. ah, but i love him nonetheless. as for the outcome, uhm, well, nothing came about them, really, except for a nice friendship outside of LS (i think so, anyway) with one of them (the disturbed one). yep.

Yeah.. the problem with that is that it was really a crush on the avatar.. or her boobs... I think sometimes people get all wrapped up online in thinking someone is really something they aren't in real life Avatars and peoples posts aren't really who they are... Well... I am a clown though

I am a clown though Yes, those purple boobs...Made me drool... Thing about online crushes and romance- It's fantasy. You know have a good friend online when you can really be yourself, not worry about them disappearing on you, and they still want to talk to ya after you make a fool of yourself! (Not talking crushes, just talking online friendships in general.)

Well I had a crush in a big way a couple of years ago online....it was very real to me...not a fantasy, and I never want to get that close to anyone on the net again... Basicly..online friends/Romance really sucks.

The thread starter is asking if anyone has a crush on someone (a member) on the site....NOT if you think someone has a crush on you. By outcome, what the original poster is asking is if this crush you have has lasted for a while, what is it's status now or just how far has it gone...or did it go...whatever the case. Friendships with the opposite sex can easily cross the line and can become inappropriate. Bottom line for me now is that my LS friendships are with women only. I've learned a lot being on here.

I do happen to know of someone that did have a crush on another LS poster and fell for the person. They were making future plans to be together.. In the end it didn't work out as the person wasn't truthful with their age and who they were in real life and the person who fell for that poster was worse off after all the dirt came out and was really hurt by it. They came here to get over a hurt and left here hurt.. The person who got hurt no longer posts here anymore.. And by the way.. I am not either of those people.. I happen to have been friends with that poster at the time it happened..
