wookinpanub Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 That after months and months of being completely "out of the game" so to speak. Of not caring, of being so eager to be single. Having no desire to date or even feeling attracted to someone (refer to my last posts). Well, I met some girl at my new job. Its just kind of weird. We hit it off. We get a long well, have a lot in common and what we don't have in common, we playfully make fun of each other about. We spent more time talking than working. Well I asked her on a date, and I get this non committal answer of "well I have to do a lot of work" (classes were starting for both of us soon, and some other stuff, which made sense). She doesn't have AIM or anything, but we kept messaging each other over facebook and blah blah blah, long story short, she keeps like beating around the bush about it, won't give me a simple yes or no. I told myself before I asked her, that if I got any answer but a yes, than I was going to forget about it, and make a mental note that she would only be a friend for good. Im done with games and that crap. Well I find myself not letting go. Still holding out hope. Dunno why, and I know its dumb. Oh well.
Mr. Lucky Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Well I find myself not letting go. Still holding out hope. Dunno why, and I know its dumb. Oh well. In the interest of reinforcing your dumbness, let me help you let go. One date isn't much of a committment, so if she has so little care or regard for you that she won't even do that, there is a strong message there. Move on... Mr. Lucky
