Author Woggle Posted September 6, 2007 Author Posted September 6, 2007 This why my wife and I are such a good match. We are both old souls that actually believe in commitment and working things out. We are very old fashioned type of people and I don't mean that in a conservative and uptight way but in the way we approach life and relationships.
Author Woggle Posted September 6, 2007 Author Posted September 6, 2007 goodness the Jersey in you is really showing. I don't see how my tastse have anything to do with Jersey. I don't really like Bon Jovi and that in and of itself is a crime in this state.

I just had to say it because this list amazed me so much, you been lookin at my ipod? No but music is my main love. I have a huge record collection and it grows all the time. They are having a record convention at Meadowlands in New Jersey and I am borrowing my friend's van because I know that is how much I will buy.

Melovator Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 You better keep away from record stores on the road trip then, sounds like its going to be full van... people, porn, beer, etch-a-sketches... then of course some hitchhiker whose wife's just dumped him to find fulfilment with a moose will turn up... that'll keep you talking through half the trip...

Author Woggle Posted September 6, 2007 Author Posted September 6, 2007 We also need to speed through the streets of San Francisco while playing Sabotage by the Beastie Boys.
Gunny376 Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 You're right~! Laughter is the best medicine!
Melovator Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 We also need to speed through the streets of San Francisco while playing Sabotage by the Beastie Boys. Completely, Utterly and Totally- I once saw the beasties do a 27 minute version it live- so cool. I'm all set to shake this watergate.

We are very old fashioned type of people and I don't mean that in a conservative and uptight way but in the way we approach life and relationships. You are very fortunate because undoubtedly, marriage will have many challenges along the way. I wish my STBX had the same level of commitment. Unfortunately, her idea of marriage was for the husband to give, and the wife to receive.
Melovator Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Unfortunately, her idea of marriage was for the husband to give, and the wife to receive. Both need to give, both need to recieve, can't work otherwise. By the way if I'm in the van I'm bringing my own beer: to quote Monty Python "American beer is like making love in canoe, f**king close to water!"

Is Moose going too? Oh boy best bring extra batteries on this trip.
Gunny376 Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Is Moose going too? Oh boy best bring extra batteries on this trip. Durracelle Baby! Nothing but Duracelle!
sumdude Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Hey, got room for me n' a guitar? I could play gigs along the way to make gas money. BTW Woggle and KittenMoon ... the irony is that you're both right... Both of those things were part of my ex marriage to some degree. Looking back hindsight n' all ... I wish I had done and told her that some of the sh** going on during the months before she moved out had to stop or else.. oh well live and learn. Of course she could have given me the same ultimatum and who knows .. 20/20 Hey pass that bottle here to the back seat Gunny...

a4a Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Looks like with all the passengers the vw van is too small.... We need at least a short bus..... hell many of us are used to riding the short bus so it will be more comforting.
