Ghawam15 Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 My friend told me she prob would never have a bf through High school. but at ninth grade she started to date a senior she hardly knew and then she said again she wont date again through high School. So in the middle of 10th grade she tells me over aim tht this guy asked her out and she said yes. shed known i liked her, but idk why she told me tht. Was it to hurt me or wound me, to put me down a couple of pegs idk. but i want to no why she had said this to me
Yosef Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 Hrmm... sounds like a girl who wants to be like everyone else. It's NOT easy to make a committment as to not date throughout high school. The best chance you've got of fulfilling it is by chance of not meeting anyone you have a crush for. I believe she wants you to feel proud of her. She's doing it in a rather selfish way, seeing as she already knows you have a thing for her but either doesn't take it into consideration or doesn't remember. If she doesn't remember, well, nothing you can do but mention it again. Another thing I see wrong is that she is either dating or is promising not to date. That's like a brick wall surrounding her with little windows to make sure who knocks on her door is someone she wants in her life or not. It's a real tough situation. You need to get a definite answer from her. She's being complicated. I don't want you to struggle thinking about this. I want you to ask her, gently, why she does this. If she chooses not to answer, she may not be comfortable answering. If she does answer, I would like you to comprehend it. DO NOT ARGUE. Don't begin fighting over such a problem. Even if she starts, do not continue. This is not a relationship to be lost but to be grown and I want you to live without worry or pain in your heart.

She told this this over AIM not to my face, And she already told me she doesnt have feelings for me when she asked if i did. But I am thinking of not being friends with her because i dont want to be hurt by this person more. I feel as if she used me to make herself more confident with guys so tht she can get a real bf for herself. Cause she new this twelth grader in 9th grade for about one month and she started to go out with him. But really i feel tht she not really my friend because she never comes up and talks to me during a class or at lunch. the only time she comes up and talks to me was when something bad happens to me or when her usual friends arent there and she is bored. And she always insults me.
