VirtualInsanity Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 I was talking to guy at a lunch meeting (first time meet) & I flirted unintentionally. I swear I was only there to meet & have lunch. I met three guys there and the first guy I was sick of. Second guy left before we could chat longer. Third guy stayed and moved to where I was located. So my 1st question is: what are hard core signs a guy likes you? 2nd question is: Can guys tell your flirting without having to touch him? I think I did it without knowing I did. I can't believe I did that & must have looked like a fool. Btw he didn't shake my hand very well. I got a crappy handshake.

Hard Core Signs, that im a victim of sometimes are: If they see you from a distance, they look into your eyes, and when you catch sight of them, they dodge their vision to some other location as if they were never looking at you.I have a problem of looking around while talking, due to nervousness of looking at the person.Nervous tone of voice.Lot of smiling. (personally, im not a big smiler, but this is generally a symptom)Sitting up very straight.

My worst one was a guy who held it & did nothing. I didn't see the 1st two hard core signs you mentioned except so say he was smooth talker & very polite. Oh but I noticed he never looked around so he was interested in the converstation. Even introduced me when someone else sat down with us. Never had anyone do that. After we chatted for about an hour he had to leave. I asked him something & he asked me to come with him & so I did.

I will be seeing both guys later this week so that will give me a better idea.

I think that the most prevalent sign that a guy likes a girl is that he tries to spend as much time with or near her as he can.
lindya Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 I have a problem of looking around while talking, due to nervousness of looking at the person. Might be an idea to work on that. Any time I've been involved in a conversation about off-putting body language, the distracted-looking-around-the-room one seems to be pretty high up on most people's list. I think a lot of people would take it as a cue that you're bored/distracted, and they should therefore end the conversation and move on.

halfarock Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 I don’t think that there are any universal signs that are always true. Whenever I like a woman and am not sure if she likes me or not, I just watch her and how she interacts with everyone else and how she interacts with me. If she likes me I’ll see a difference. I like to think that when one likes another that there is a characteristic look that one gives another. Not everyone gives the same look so it takes a little interpretation I suppose. That said, I’m sure that women that I like know that I like them. It’s because I talk with them, I smile, I flirt with them, I tease them, I play with them, I hang out with them, I make it obvious.
