Just a question on body language. I was at at a party last night and was chatting to this woman for a while and she was playing with her constantly about 10 minutes into the conversation for the last 1o minutes into the conversation. (approx)

Does that mean anything or was she just unconformable when I was chatting. Her pupils where also very dilated but that could have just have been from the party.

Thinking maybe I should ask her out for a drink. As I got her number (along with numerous others) - friends

Oh and another lady, more of an acquaintance who is becoming a friend actually pecked me on the cheek when I we were saying our goodbyes completely unexpected.

Thinking maybe I should ask her out for a drink as well.

Hrmm. Was the first girl smiling a lot? Remember, if you were in a dimly lit area, her pupils are supposed to be dilated to make up for the amount of light not entering the eye.

For the second girl, I think she has something for you:love:

Um, ask the second girl first. She is, IMO, more definite a chance than the first.

If she gave you her number then give her a call.

BTW does anything think it's possible to flirt and give off mixed messages without intending to?

Yes, it's likely. If you look at someone a smile out of kindness, rather than liking, it could give off a mixed message. After all, it is polite to smile.

It depends on the context I suppose and what all the small parts of the body language amounts to. It has to be more than a smile. i.e. Hair, touching, etc.

She was playing with her what? Boy, I've got a vivid imagination, so you'd better help me out here.

Ahhh, that was my guess, but I was enjoying trying out all kinds of different things in that sentence to see how it sounded...

I wouldn't draw any firm conclusions about the hair thing - maybe she was nervous because she liked you. I wouldn't rule her out because of it; go have a drink and see...

does she smile, and I mean REALLY smile.. not a simple smile where only the mouth is moved, a smile where the entire face changes and eyes get wider. One is just a common smile and the other actually indicates happiness and interest.

Eye contact is very important to. If the girl is shy, when you look her in the eyes she looks away, but if shes not she will look you in the eyes when talking. If shes not doing 1 of these 2 things, shes not interested in YOU.
