Magnatolia Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Hi all, Ladies, I'm keen to get some advice on clothes that would make a thin, 6ft guy look attractive. At the moment I wear stretch fit dark blue jeans, whatever t-shirt I can reach and a leather jacket. Obviously this is an average look, whereas I want something that makes me stand out, in a good way. Something that I could wear to the office (I have a fairly casual dress-code at work). Websites with articles by women would be great too. I'm not that great when it comes to 'matching' different clothing pieces together for maximum impact. Imagine that you're taking me to a clothing shop and deciding on clothes Pictures would be fantastic too. I'm not really keen on the 'corporate' look, more something that can be worn both in and out of office. Something with maximum impact. Thanks

I have a look in mind that a lot of women find attractive but I don't know if you're young enough to pull it off. It's basically a toned down version of the NY/urban "hipster" look. If you pull it off, it's guaranteed to attract women in hordes. Hordes. Believe me. There are many variations on this look. A good place to shop would be H&M (men's section). I can offer some pictures if you're interested. If you live in NY, spend some time in Soho, the West Village or Williamsburg and observe how the straight guys there dress.

Lizzie60 Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 I say : casual pants - with a nice pale sport shirt, either plain or with very small discreet pattern (stripes) - and maybe a well cut sport jacket if you need to wear one... real leather shoes. (one pr brown and one black) I also like polo shirts with casual pants, the 'golf look' LOL

You will also be one of many clones.
huh Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Do you have a good female friend who you can go shopping with? If so, she can help you out. At your height, you can wear pretty much what you want. Just make sure it's well tailored/fitted as opposed to skin tight or baggy. A guy can't go wrong with a well fitted button down shirt. Don't overlook the shoes, they're an important part of the outfit too.
