Grace112 Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Do you think that it is still possible to have a healthy and successful relationship if it starts out with a lie? I know I shouldn't be concerned with the viability of their relationship, but it's a question that is relevant to our break-up and our possible reconciliation. My ex-fiancee began wooing a woman by telling her that our relationship was over 4 months ago and the wedding date was supposed to be in June - thus already passed. In truth, he began speaking to her 2 weeks after we called the wedding off and our date was in fact 2 weeks from tomorrow. He also told her he had no clue which woman I was worried about where in truth, I told him exactly who she was and she indeed had developed feelings for him. If there are falsehoods to begin with in any relationship, can the couple recooperate and move forward?
