Hey everyone,

I apologive in advance if there's a forum devoted to these questions, however I looked and couldn't find onw. Anyway so I've been with my girlfriend for a year and a half now. About a week ago we were having sex and after we were done I noticed she had a small bump around her vagina. I started to ask her if it hurt or itched and she said no. But she did say she just recently shaved. She looked closer and noticed another small one but closer to the anal area. WE both started to freak out a little bit. She's always been on birth control so we stupidly never use condom's. It's been 5 days now and I haven't seen her. She says there still there but that it doesn't hurt and there not turning into sores or blisters or anything weird.

Anyway recently I'm noticing that it itches a little more than usual for me down there and I'm having strange shock like sensations in my feet and hands that I've never had before, and also tonight i'm running a mild FEVER, which are some of the symptoms relating to herpes. I can't stop thinking about it and the anxiety is killing me especially because of the fever thing! I can't stop researching herpes and HPV as it seems like if she does have anything it's probably one of these. I'm freaked out cuz I've always trusted her and now I could be paying a high price for not using protection. I'm constantly asking her how things are going "down there." She's going to make an appointment as soon as her menstrual cycle stops cuz they won't see you if your bleeding I guess. SO I think while she's dealing with that I might go get tested.

I also came across a page that said they could be related to shaving and something to do with the friction during sex. OR they could be some kind of sebaceous cyst which I guess are pretty common and look exactly like what she has. IS there anyone here female/male who has either gone through a similar experience or have had these type of bumps themself? And also could stress be causing all my symptoms and maybe I'm just freaking myself out into believing i've actually contracted something?? Thanks in advance for any responses.
