peace_pipe Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 So I moved into a new place recently. I have been there a few weeks and didn't even realize that I had a neighbor. Yesterday, she comes knocking on my door asking about a stray cat. We had a nice conversation for 20 minutes. She said that I was welcome to visit sometime. She's cute and within my age range. Apparently she is also new and alone, but I am not sure. I want to go knock on her door, to see if she wants to have a drink or whatever. I need some ideas that won't creep her out. Do you think she came by for reasons other than the cat?
laRubiaBonita Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 maybe she just wanted to see who her neighbors were as well, and the cat was the purrfect excuse... ahahaha you could always pull the "borrow-a-cup-of-sugar" routine and then you could offer/ invite her over to sample the cookies, or what ever you borrowed something for.
reboot Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 She said that I was welcome to visit sometime. What part of that is confusing to you?
sweetbutcheeky Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 That's what I was wondering, she invited you to drop by. So why would it creep her out to drop by? I have a feeling there may be no cat!
