GOOD LUCK in whatever you do or I WISH YOU THE BEST???

Why do women say this dumb sh*T??

Why would I wish some good luck who I have no interest in dealing with anymore?

Posted

Easy way of letting him down I guess. Depends on how nice the girl is. And if your not a complete B*tch, it would be nice to say something like that even if you don't want to talk to them anymore.

It's not "dumb sh*t" - it's called BEING POLITE. You clearly don't know what that means.

Obviously, that's a dumbsh*t thing to do because once one has no use for another person, there's no need to consider them further.

It's called humanity. You're going to have to look into it if you want to blend in on this planet until the mothership comes.

A cool girl would say 'Would you like to feel my breast one last time?'

(and if you never got that far before with her, thats a REAL bonus!)

I've never used that line or anything even close to it. Sorry but that sounds like a corny thing to say and I know guys see thru that. Wish you best? Yeah okay.

But would you rather that said or them just come out and say they don't want to deal with you anymore and come off as a bitch?

Some women are just trying to be nice DA. Even if they suck at it. Be glad you don't hear something worse and offensive.

I've heard men do that too. The guy who liked me and I told him I only wanted to be friends..and then he said some nasty things to me....and then he kept trying to get me to talk to him after that....he had told me in an email that if I didn't want to see him in person, then he'd have to move on (I'm glad he broke it to me gently....) And then he told me how he wished me only the best.....etc....

(Hey, don't you love it when you end it with someone and they act like they're ending it with YOU?)

I can see why you dislike it though. It makes you feel like you're a contestant who lost on a game show. "Thanks for playing" (as they escort you off of the stage......)

I think what bothers you about it also is that you don't feel that it's sincere. You feel like if they really cared, they wouldn't be rejecting you. So you're feeling like they're full of crap when they say it.

What would you prefer the parting words to be?

If she simply blew you off without returning your calls, you would probably be on here upset regarding that move.

What do you guys WANT? Date Analyzer, just WHAT should this woman have done if she doesn't want to see you anymore? Say "I am not attracted to you in any way, shape, or form, and I don't want to see you ever again in my entire life?" Would you rather have that brutal honesty?

Seriously, DA, WHAT SHOULD SHE HAVE DONE?

Posted

It's no different than saying good bye to someone. Is there anything wrong with wishing someone well? I don't get it. Should she say, I can't stand you, get out of my face?

That sounds so defeatist. I hope I am reading this vast explanation incorrectly however.

You posted not too long ago about how rude it was when someone did not call you back.

I am confused.

.....Good luck, I wish you the best.:D

at least they say good luck to you. it may be superficial but it's better than nothing. my last date i met a woman at a bar we got drinks, we ordered some food at the bar i paid for it all, she never even offered, i walked her to her car i asked if she had a good time and she said yes and i asked her to call me after her vacation which she was going on the next day. i never heard from her a week later so i called her and left a message telling her i hope she had a nice vacation and to give me a call. she never did. maybe i have BO or something. who knows. my pic is in my profile. am i THAT bad looking? so you see DA it takes all kinds i guess.

Just because they don't want to deal with you anymore doesn't make them a bitch or rude! You can honestly wish someone the best in their life and not want to deal with them anymore. I think you missed the class in learning some class.

Any do you seem to that everything woman say is dumb sh*t or a game?

Posted

I guess it's just a woman thing to say to people who are not intereseting. Got me.

guys dont like it because it is patronizing and a worthless consolation

Okay, next time I'm going to send a e-card that says "Having fun, glad you're not here"...

OK DA. I've been entertained by your posts for a long time. If nothing else, they make me feel like I have "it" going on.

However, I think it has gotten to the point where I really feel that any woman who would date you seriously is probably concussed or at least needs her head examined. If you took the time to look back at all of the crap you have posted, you may find all of the very real answers to your ridiculous questions in the form of a metaphorical slap in the face. If that's not the case, then I wish you well in your blissful anawaredness. I hope it continues to serve you well. If you ever choose to graps at a clue, you may find that helpful.

Star Gazer sort of has it right, that it's kind of a polite thing to say. But it's also totally insincere and unimaginative. It's similar to asking someone "how are you?" when you actually, honestly could care less. But you ask because it's a polite pattern of speech that indicates you belong in society.

I actually secretly appreciate it when someone doesn't actually tell me how they are. That means we both agree that I don't actually care about the details of their life, and only asked because there aren't many other options, and that's fine.

I know exactly what I'm going to say next time. "I have a map and so do my friends".

Lol - you're so witty!!

well the probably do wish you the best of luck. its kind of an insult, though, because when someone likes you and things don't work out they usually don't wish the best for you, but hope something painful happens to you.

it's kind of like saying you're a non-existant abstraction to me. like when you wathc the news and you see iraqis getting blown up and you wish it would stop and they wouldnt have to suffer, but you also don't lose sleep over it. it's just like that

Thanks although it's more like a twisted sense of humour. ;)
