BurriedAlive Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 Hi guys! As you all know, I had an A with one of my married bosses, D day came and then I got fired. Well, I found a way better job back in the city and my new job is going very well. I am in the process of rebuilding my entire life! Anyway, I work for a rather large company and there is a very cute manager who's office is not too far from mine. I see him often and the way he looks at me and talks to me is very, shall I say, pervocative. And of course, as you all can guess, he wears a great big shinny ring.... Don't worry, I am not looking for a repeat of my big disaster or anything but I was wondering if the fact that I have been an OW before allows me to spot the cheaters from miles away? It's not like this guy has propositioned me in any way or anything, it's just the way he looks at me. Can anyone relate to this or is this all just in my head???

It's not in your head... they are everywhere... LOL I think most women can spot a cheater miles away... but maybe it is easier for an OW.... not sure.
Author BurriedAlive Posted August 27, 2007 Author Posted August 27, 2007 I knew I count on you Lizzie for a reply to this one! Seriously though, I wish I were like you. The opportunity for no strings attached sex is everywhere!!!
woe_is_me Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 That's good to hear you've found a new job and are doing well! This is a hard question to answer.. i don't assume that just because i think a guy is married that he must be... it's the ones 'without' the big gold wedding bands that you have to worry about.. I really do think that a LOT of married men will cheat given the opportunity ..because usually the wife isn't giving them as much sex as they want..if any at all... imo hard-up married men would be the ones with the most passion (ie. sleazy) because they aren't getting any.. also..because of the lies my xmm told to his w and the lengths he went to to see me during our A it's made me think that most men will/would cheat at the drop of a hat...
RealityCheck Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 It's not in your head... they are everywhere... LOL I think most women can spot a cheater miles away... but maybe it is easier for an OW.... not sure. I feel you maybe right! But then again, infidelity seems to be an apidemic in today's society. It just hasn't made its way to the Stats bureau yet!
RealityCheck Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 I feel you maybe right! But then again, infidelity seems to be an apidemic in today's society. It just hasn't made its way to the Stats bureau yet! Oh! and another thing...there is a site exclusively for people seeking out affairs. I don't know if it is against policy at LS to post the site, but HO-LY!!! It was advertised in our T.V. Guide took a peek and OMG! The site has already raked millions in revenue! The numbers are incredible. Heck! Every OW and BS should take a look. They just may discover someone they know on there! My spelling is something to be desired tonight. Sorry. I've been jumping from here to the stove.....lol

It just hasn't made its way to the Stats bureau yet! and they will never ever be able to combine the 'real' stats... cause what they are combining now are based on M... but couples in long-term common-law relationships are just 'like married' IMO, but these are not compiled... Divorce rate is high but it would be much higher if the common-law were counted... And you're right.. it is an epidemic... and it will only get worst... because of the 'facility' to have an A.. we are in a disposable society whether we like it or not.
Author BurriedAlive Posted August 27, 2007 Author Posted August 27, 2007 That's funny, RC.... Like MM need help finding girls to sleep with! Actually when you stop and think about it, it's very sad! I guess it will be interesting to see if new MM's sexy looks turn into more. There will be no encouragement coming from this chick!
sadbuttrue Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 buried, i think once you have crossed that line and become an OW, the prospect doesnt seem as daunting as it would to someone who has never been there before. so, i think it would make sense that you are more aware of such advances and at the same time maybe more vulnerable to them. i hope for your sake you dont get drawn in again.

What's even more sad is that the site does not only consist of MM there is also MW who actually are looking to have discrete A's. LOOKING! PRE-MEDITATED AFFAIRS! It's beyond sad! It's pathetic!

Author BurriedAlive Posted August 29, 2007 Author Posted August 29, 2007 I don't know. I am sure they must.... There is not sexual harassment though. It's just a hunch that I have. I am just going to stay away from him.
