ross37 Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 me and my gf have been dating for almost 9 months now and we are really close and we are defintely going to be getting married, so we are close, but one thing i dont like...is her friends! i dont like any of them..not 1! All of them are so annoying and complete opposite of my gf and i dont know how she stands them. I cant even stand the sound of their voice and i hate it when they call her and ask her to do something while shes with me...ugh its annoying... so my question is this...do i just suck it up or what?

If you love her and want to spend the rest of your life with her then what choice have you got? They might not be friends forever but they are her friends now and you have to respect that or else she will end up resenting you if you make bad remarks about them and so on.

People often say you associate with those who are similar to you, so there must be something in common with them that brings them together. Or opposites attract. It sounds a bit like your gf's the quiet, sweet type, and her friends are the loud, obnoxious bitch type. Well if that's the case, from personal experience, this kind of friendship can't last very long anyway, so stick with your girl and try to ignore her friends...
