JamesM Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Okay, that really isn't the title of a book . but dads everywhere can tell you that children do ask such questions. This thread is in honor of Art Critic and other new dads out there. Personally, I enjoy reading, so I have tried to read as many books about topics as I can. And when I first became a new dad, I tried to become an expert. But as all new parents can tell you, kids don't read the same books! So, the best teacher is experience. But...what books would you recommend for a new dad or mom? I am reading a humorous one currently (which is why I thought of this thread) called: Dadditude. Here it is on Amazon... http://www.amazon.com/Dadditude-How-Real-Man-Became/dp/0738211001 Can you add any to the list?
Jinnah Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 The "What to Expect Series" has always been a favorite of mine. They have What To Expect When You're Expecting, What To Expect The First Year, What To Expect The Toddler Years, etc. by Arlene Eisenberg, Heidi Murkoff, and Sandee E. Hathaway - forward by Henry Harris. These are perfect for new moms and dads. Even the pregnancy one has a chapter for dads and reading the whole book would make one informed dad.
Art_Critic Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Thanks for starting this thread James M. I just clicked your humorous book on Amazon and bought it.. The author was the same age as me when he became a Dad..
Trialbyfire Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 But James, cars do poop. They eat a gaseous substance and emit a gaseous substance.
