katla Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 My ex and I broke up about a year ago. We've been dancing to the "FWB" tune pretty much ever since. I don't feel used because I knew from the get-go that he wasn't keen on having a serious relationship with me or anyone else, but I think I still have lingering feelings for him and I can feel my emotional stability faltering after every hook-up. I'm going to end it, but I don't want to call and for some unknown reason I'm having a hard time figuring out what to write in my letter. What should I say?
Curious139 Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Have a look at this thread for ideas http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t117844/ I don't think friends with benefits works - I could never do it. Intimacy involves emotions whether we recognise it or not. There is a high risk of at least one party getting hurt. You need to make the break and look for a man who will treat you with decency and respect.
