Trialbyfire Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Most women are shorter than the men they date. Small/shorter women have a greater tendency than taller women to want to feel physically protected by the man they're with. A guy who's 5'2'' to 5'6'' is less likely to make any woman feel physically protected than a guy who's 6' - that's why they're more likely to want a guy who's tall. Wow, never thought of it this way but I believe this may apply to me. I'm short and have always been attracted to tall men usually 6'+. The current guy I'm dating is 6"2"+. In looking back, 95% of the men I dated were 6' and change. I do love the feeling of being protected. It's such an instinctual fall back since I know I can take care of myself in a non-physical interaction and in a physical interaction, I have some kick-boxing and a touch of tai kwon do under my belt.

Well if that is the case, then us guys under six feet get the "short" end of the stick.
Trialbyfire Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Well if that is the case, then us guys under six feet get the "short" end of the stick. Haha...Rid, would that be short end or tall end? Us shrimps need to be protected from big, bad people.

Trialbyfire Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 :lmao: Never judge a book by its cover. Shorter guys can be great protecters as well. No doubt. Height is a negotiable item for me. Now intelligence, non-negotiable. Knuckle draggers need not apply.
Author uniqueone Posted August 23, 2007 Author Posted August 23, 2007 I bet she would overlook this requirement if she got to knew him and actually clicked. So let's put this in the context of a man and a fat woman. Would you suggest the same thing to a man?
StayClose Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I'd love to see a comedy where a guy is offered a blind date and asks for her weight and height, and he's told the answer is something like 5'8" and 150 pounds. He mulls it over, decides she's too fat and turns the date down - only to meet her later (accomanied by a guy to did agree to meet her) and discover she not fat at all but wears a F-cup bra.
