sb129 Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 who has a life coach? Yeah... people actually use them? In Brisbane of all places?
whichwayisup Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Maybe lifecoach is another term for therapist.
sb129 Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Oooh. Like the same way the guy who empties your rubbish bins is called a "refuse technician"??
Enema Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 I always thought they were more like a career counsellor / financial advisor... but without any real qualifications.
Author charliepapa Posted August 22, 2007 Author Posted August 22, 2007 Actually she is working on her phd with her thesis on Life Coaching. Life Coaching is more of a guide and a kick up the arse.

That you have to pay ridiculous amounts of money for. you can get a PhD in Life coaching? I have heard it all now. I always thought they were more like a career counsellor / financial advisor... but without any real qualifications. I still think this is an accurate description.

Enema Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Brisbane isn't just a little town with 2 shacks in the middle of it, dont be so condescending. Yeah, we got a 3rd one in 2006!
Citizen Erased Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Yeah, we got a 3rd one in 2006! wOOt! :bunny: Sure was party time then
sb129 Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I know that. I have been to Brisbane several times. It was more of a compliment than an insult. I thought (perhaps wrongly) that Brisbane was quite a laid back city, and I thought that most Australians were too no-nonsense to bother with something like life-coaching.
