BlueEyedSarah Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Hi everyone, I'm having a really hard time coping with the hurt of a LDR I have known for over 4 years (met him a few times in rl too). I feel very heart broken and am finding it difficult to sleep. I keep crying. I have a lot on my mind right now and am stressing out a lot .

While it may not fill your void, at the very least distraction for now. In time, you will feel at least as much again. Trust me.

In my experience, you have to go through the full gamut. Negative emotions are always better out than in, though preferrably privately rather than publicly. But if you have trusted friends to confide in, they are invaluable. Cheers, D.
katla Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 Grieve now and reflect back on what you might have learned from this experience so that you can give yourself a chance for growth, but don't internalize your thoughts and feelings excessively. It will only prolong your natural heartache and distort your perspective. Don't let it drag you down when you have the power to work on ways to let go.

I feel pretty good about myself, been going out a lot to keep my mind off this guy. I feel the hurt in my heart still every now and again but it feels like the weight from my sholders has lifted slightly. I do have my ups and down days but I mainly have the good up days now. Thanks for taking the time to read my post and offer me advice . If anyone else wishes to share their thoughts then please do so . I'm very greatful to all.
