yergawd Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 A while back I had asked for advice about pictures and a letter that I had found in my GFs drawer. Well it finally came out. I had been miserable since that post. And it finally came out last night. I had been edgy on snapping at people. The final straw was her son who enjoys antagonizing everyone, yet again brought up and compared my to "fun daddy 'bob'", her ex. If you remember this was the bi-polar abusive husband. Something about feeling like you have to "live up to" a drug dealing, abusive, con man that pushes one over the edge. Antway after several hours, and a lot of beating around the bush, it came out. She said she had forgotten about the stuff, I don't believe her 100%, but she was completely understanding. Also the words forever came up from both of us. We have only been together for 6 months but I really think this might be a forever type thing. I am not going to even bring up marraige for at least another year. We've both been married before and I am only going to do it one more time. So I don't want there to be any doubts. Very emotional night but alls well.
Author yergawd Posted August 16, 2007 Author Posted August 16, 2007 Sorry about all the gramatical and spelling errors in the last post, at work and kind of rushed. I got side tracked and didn't really tell how the story ended. I had asked her to just pack the things up and put it elsewhere till she was ready to get rid of them. She had said she didn't know about them and would dispose of them. As long as it is taken care of, whether she disposes of them ,or just packs them up I don't care. Just speaking my mind and knowing I won't come across them again is good by me. Still don't know what to say when I am compared to him by her kids:(. Guess it all just comes with her and I will just have to hold my tongue and hopefully it will happen less and less frequently. Cest la vie:(
