BlueEyedSarah Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 I'm not ready for a relationship with a guy right now but these past few days my heart has been aching as I miss having someone to love lay in bed next to me who I can wrap my arms aroubd and lay on their chest. Does anyone know how I can get over feeling this way? .
shockandawed Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 I can completely relate to that. I am pretty happy being single, but I do really miss those nights of spooning with a special person and talking all night long. Of course, some of the other things that go along with it I miss as well, lol!!! Hang in there until you are ready and find the right person. It will make those moments all the more special.
101NEO Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 You're not alone sweetie. last night i woke up feeling around the bed for the girl i miss. once i realized that she wasn't there i took a pillow and cuddled it. sometimes helps, sometimes doesn't.
DonQuixote Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 Just joined the site and this is my first post...but I totally know how you feel. I was the one that wanted to work things out so I am taking it pretty hard. We had an almost seven year relationship and were very close (or so I thought) for most of it. There were very few nights that we didn't spend together cuddling. It's only been in the past two to two and a half years that things went really downhill. All in all, though it sucks to be so used to that comfort and having somebody so close to you everynight and know that you will never have them there again. Be strong...I know I am trying!
