my body is a cage Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Guy friend tried to kiss me! AAAHHH Why am I such an awkward girl? My guy friend tried to kiss me last night. I probably would have, but he has a girlfriend, who I like and am friends with. He told her he was going to kiss girls because she recently cheated on him, but STILL, I don't want to have to be the one to cause complications even though he was granted permission?? This guy is funny, cute, etc and I like him as a person a lot so I really don't want things to be weird and I didn't want to offend him and I'm afraid I made things terribly awkward aaaahh!! He's not an awkward person at all but I can be very awkward sometimes. He said straight up, "I think youre a good looking girl and obviously its not going to mean anything I jusst want to kiss you to see what its like and my girlfriend knows I'm gonna kiss girls blah blah," and I told him I feel the same way about you I like you as a person and I think youre attractive but I don't like you like that. It ended up in like 30 minutes of arguing and we almost kissed like twice but finally he gave up on me and was like, "Ok. You saved me a lot of trouble I guess. Bye!" in a very amicable we're still friends way but we were both quite drunk and I'm afraid that today its just gonna be AWKWARD and WEIRD and I made a really big deal out of a little kiss and I hope he doesn't feel rejected? Because I really do like him as a person I don't want to hurt his feelings. *phew* Sorry, had to get that out.
BlueEyedSarah Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I hope he doesn't feel rejected? Why would you worry about that? HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND! If he's girlfriend kissed someone else then they should be working the issue out rather than him being immature, getting revenge by kissing other girls, especially friends. Thats a way to really break he's girlfriends heart when its her boyfriend and friend kissing each other. You did the right thing by not kissing him. It ended up in like 30 minutes of arguing and we almost kissed like twice but finally he gave up on me and was like, "Ok. You saved me a lot of trouble I guess. Bye!" He didn't get what he WANTS so he acts like the sulking baby about it. we were both quite drunk Drunk is not an excuse. You were both aware of what you were doing.
Author my body is a cage Posted August 15, 2007 Author Posted August 15, 2007 I know drinking is not an excuse, I just mean that probably made it less awkward at the time and now it will be more awkward when we're sober? And yeah I told him kissing other girls isn't going to help too.
BlueEyedSarah Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Next time you see him just try not to think about it. What happened happened, its in the past now, it was a mistake. Your lucky it didn't go further to actually kissing each other, that would make the situation worse! .
