I never pushed it. As for guys online who just want to play, women whom I met online tell me that these players are easily recognized. Players are obvious--at least to reasonably bright and seasoned middle-aged women. The greatest knock on online dating is that there's such a supply of potential partners that one is disinclined to commit for fear of missing out with someone "better." This "grass is potentially greener" open endedness shuts down after awhile as online dating fatigue ("ODF") sets in. At some point, one has enough and you jump off the online dating merry-go-round.

Photo or email is not enough, you need the whole picture like eye contact, non verbal signals, etc. 4. Dating on-line has stigma of loser...you have to try hard to beat it. Some discussion forum is better (like this). 5. It is ego-safer to ask someone out on internet, therefore it is the coward and lazy way...it wont shape you the same way as real world dating/rejection would 6. Anyone who spends more than 1/2 hour by internet socialising has some problem. (yeah yeah me too I know). 7. You have to be extremely lucky to find real deal match. It happens but real world dating gives you much better chances. 8. Only pro I can see is you "meet" people out of your social circle. But again you can date only those living close enough and after she learns you are garbage-collector she dumps you anyway. So social circle my azz Hell I always wanted to be a garbage collector. I should pursue my child dreams.

So social circle my azz When I was single, 3/4's of the women I'd meet outside of my social circle were married or in relationships, and of those not in a relationship, 3/4's did not have qualities that interested me, or I was not interesting enough to them to get a better response than "I'm busy." This meant that only 2-3 times a year it got as far a first date. It is often said here that dating is a numbers game, and Internet dating does supply the numbers. If you read financial advice, it says to diversify your investments. When stocks are down, other investments tend to rise & vise versa. The best advice for those dating who are not in the top 10 percent of what the opposite sex is looking for is to persue BOTH online and "real-world" opportunities to meet people.

Yeah it sounds reasonable but reality is the on-line pool is a little shady. There are more fish but you cant see them and they tend to be rotten. I learnt about this interesting game (in real world only): "Get your 100 rejections". Basically you go after any girl you find interesting and ask her for a number. Some turn you down, some give you false numbers, some will flake on you.... it all counts as rejection. Thing is you have to rip their numbers or walk away....she flake on you without reasonable excuse and you walk. Actually you really start to play numbers game. It gives you an edge. And it becomes funny to watch different rejection styles.

Really??? haha by that i meant....hm ok you know how in first dates even if u dont kiss blah blah...you still, if interested, get physically close? as in ur arms touch, or he puts his hand on your back (if ur a girl) when opening the door for you??? stuff like that...yeah, he didnt do...he kept a good distance between us that made me think he didnt like me much....ofcoure, conversation was great, so i attributed that for the second date Fortunately i was wrong....later on he told me he had been just too shy and didnt know how to get closer, cuz he actually wanted to ask for a kiss goodnite

Well I am still looking in those places but as a shy bloke it is difficult. Basically I am to decent and not enough emotionally fun. That is why have given up and stopped caring about ever finding anyone. Sex once year would be nice though. On the internet dating thing. After a date I thought went well that lasted 2 1/2 hours and and chattered on the phone for an hour she text me that she did not want to carry on the relationship - and I put my heart on the line and it got crushed and I have terminated my profile. I know it will be almost impossible as a shy ordinary bloke (though decent and good looking) to find anyone - that is why I have given up. Just have to deal with the fact that my family are all married or dating and I cant get anyone even remotely interested in me.
