dgiirl Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 mine's still back in the closet next to the photoalbum. I have looked at them maybe twice or three times in the last two+ years. It feels odd, like a memory I cannot really recall. I use to be very proud and love my ring. Now it just looks so plain and cheap.

Antha Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 I wanted to throw mine in the trash or pawn it. I didn't want to save it for my daughter, as it seemed bad luck to give her a "tainted ring". My mother didn't allow me to sell it and took it and hid it, saying one day I would like to see the 'memento' again. I really don't want to. It had 3 small diamonds on a gold bold. No engagement ring. The man I'm dating now had his pawned. Didn't get much money for it, but its far, far away from him and that's the way he wanted it.
Citizen Erased Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 My dad gave my mum's rings to my sister. Even though my mum requested I got the engagement ring on my 18th birthday, and the band to my sister on her 18th. Just another reason why I dislike him.
