Lucky555 Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 When you ask a guy what he wants and he says "i want to contiue hanging out with you and i like you" (Oh after four weeks of seeing eachother) Now this does not imply have a relationship (longterm) correct? This statement means he wants a casual relationship right..just "hanging out" and not dating? When guys want to hang out they want to get to know you. What about dates? can anyone tell me the difference?
Arizona100 Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 I have yet to understand that one. In my opinion it means "I want to hang out with you, see if I see myself dating you, because I haven't made up my mind and who knows, someone better might comes around. So not commitment for now. Or ever. Or maybe. Not telling. Yet." This stuff drives me crazy because I know what I want right to begin with. Doesn't matter if it last or not, I know if I want to give it a chance, or not. I am not a butterfly dater .. I can't do that. Hence I spend a lot of time single lol Someone will correct me if i am wrong I'm sure.
Cobra_X30 Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 How old is the guy? If he is under 40 Hanging Out = Hooking Up Means I want something physical, but Im not ready for any kind of emotional commitments.
Krytellan Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 What it means for you, essentially, is that you are NOT YET clear to put all of your eggs into his basket. His basket still has too many holes. Until those are fixed HANG ONTO YOUR EGGS!!!
