squeak Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 I have no problem with Krytellan having a double standard, as long as he adds an official diclaimer tio his signature. It should read: "My point of view is scewed because I maintain a different set of standards for women than I do for myself. Women should feel free to ignore my posts." Sounds fair to me. Problem solved! You're funny Annabelle
Woggle Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 If a man hits a woman he is considered the scum of the earth even if he is defending himself but I have seen women slapping around men in public and people laughed at it If a woman goes for spousal support after a divorce she is getting what she deserves while a man is a lazy bum Female teachers that sleep with their students get a slap on the wrist Often times women who get lighter sentences in criminal cases Yes I do know there are also plenty of double standards in men's favor but the pendulemn swings both ways.

I can play that... I'm nothing if not accommodating. But seriously ladies. All other spite and sarcasm aside, you're all going to tell me that you do not live your life by a single double standard? Hang on, I think we need to designate the women of LS for a "Mother Teresa" award... tish pshaa. The sooner you fess up the sooner we can move on from this. Though you will likely be happy to know that last night's date was a nightmare on toast.
whichwayisup Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 What's that expression, do as I say, not as I do.....
Krytellan Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 What's that expression, do as I say, not as I do..... The most glaring and traditional admission of a double standard... not that anyone here would know anything about THAT.
Lucky555 Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Ok so a guy that i was dating for two weeks slept with another girl and still pursued and wanted to date me. Yeah we were not serious but i find it disgusting....there are way too many diseases floating around! ALOT OF GUYS DO NOT GET CHECK UPS FROM DOCTORS LIKE WOMEN DO!! Let me say that first of all the HPV Human patholoma virus...80% of men have this and some dont know it! WOMEN are the ones most sucepitable and should get the shot. Now, i am just putting everyone aware first of all, yeah and this guy was so dumped! About seeing people and sleeping with people......A girl shouldn't sleep with another guy if she is seeing a guy....and the guy can sleep with other girls because hes a man and he has needs. (this was a statement made by my friend that told me the guy i was seeing as needs so hes sleeping with someone else..however we were seeing eachother for only two weeks and were complete strangers wtf? I find it disgusting) anyways thats my rant.
Art_Critic Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 80% of men have this and some dont know it! WOMEN are the ones most sucepitable and should get the shot. This statistic is way off.. only 50% of sexually active men and women will have it at some point in their lives.. not 80% of men have it right now.. http://www.cdc.gov/std/HPV/STDFact-HPV.htm#common For just the Men http://www.cdc.gov/std/HPV/STDFact-HPV-and-men.htm#common
