Reactor Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 I've been reading these forums, and they're helping me get over my ex!!! Thanks peeps. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I have had NC with my ex-gf (she broke it off) for a month and a half (we only went out 3 months but I got sucked in, like a dope). I told her to stop contacting me. I had a moment of weakness today and e-mailed her saying I was ready to talk about it if she was, I know it was the wrong thing to do, because I know what the answer will be. What I need to know is, is there anyway for me to cover up my moment of weakness? Like say it was an accident or something? Or should I just accept whats coming to me and take it like the man I am/should be? Cheers, Reactor!
Lizzie60 Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 take it like a man...and DO NOT contact her again... period!
azianpride143 Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Go get yourself a diary and write entries in there instead. That will prevent you from doing anything stupid and allowing you to express your feelings on paper. At some point, when you get over it. Just go ahead and torch that before someone else reads it.
Author Reactor Posted July 28, 2007 Author Posted July 28, 2007 Thanks peeps, your comments were exactly what I was thinking. You're right I should just move on!
brockdarock Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Hey reactor, You asked... "What I need to know is, is there anyway for me to cover up my moment of weakness? Like say it was an accident or something?" If my opinion, that is the WORST thing you could do. Don't try to "pretend" like it didn't happen. So you made a mistake...so what? You're human, just anyone else. As long as you LEARN something from it, it was well worth it. Keep up the good attitude and move on. Brock
Trialbyfire Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 I agree, don't hide it. If she responds, have a real conversation with her. If she doesn't, move on. None of this tough guy stuff.
