cindyc71 Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Well I made a post previously and I did not receive much response. I would apreciate some feedback though because I am in a very painful situation. My ex is being an a** h*** period. He has done everything from punching a guy friend of mine to making a scene over at the house of the guy I am interested in. I have gotten to the point were I do not want to go out weekends afraid of what will happen next. He even managed to get his way and make me loose a few friends and the guy I am really interested in. Last night I decided to stay home so I would not run into any drama, and found out that my ex which I left because of cheating was with his latest catch having lots of fun, while I at home miserable and alone. Now normally my friends would say you should have gone out, well wrong. It does not matter if he is with someone as long as he sees a guy next to me it is a given drama for the night. Now the guy I like seems interested but want's to rather be friends because of my overly jealous ex. What can I do? I am so damn depressed. Lost my best guy friend and also lost my crush. Is there a way to make things write. My ex has his way he can be with anyone and know I will do nothing (I am not interested in him any more). This is so unfair, I feel so trapped. I have been through so much and my self esteem in falling into pieces by the second. Any support is greatly apreciated any idea too. Thank you!!
yergawd Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Why would you hang out where you can run into him? Yeah it sucks he's as a**h***. But hey it's a big world/state/city. Also there are anti-stalking laws which you should look at. He's committing assault and intimidation.
Author cindyc71 Posted July 28, 2007 Author Posted July 28, 2007 P.S. I am living abroad in a very small town. There are 3 places to go and I will definetly run into him at one point or another of the night.
jcster Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 The only way that he will stop is if you make him stop. Tell him the next time he tries to assault your date, you will call the police - and that you will press charges.
