Lizzie60 Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 This young guy, I see once in a while for massage... He wants me to be his gf... LOL He came for a massage this week... he is sweet...very smart...fairly good looking, tall, dark, almost bald (keeps his hair really really short), beautiful straight white teeth... a real sweetie. Anyway, last year, he said he would move in with me in a second... I laughed... This week he wouldn't stop telling me how beautiful I am, how sexy, blablabla... then when I said I wanted to replace my counter, sink and faucets in my kitchen, he said he would do it... for a fairly good price. He's a plumber. OK, so last night, he came to measure the old counter... He didn't stay too long, cause he works 70-80 hours a week, it's insane, and he was soo freaken tired... anyway... he left... 2 min. later, he knocked in the patio door, in the back... I opened the curtain, here he was.. I opened the door, he said, 'come here you, he grabbed my head and kissed me'... I called him back today, cause I was paranoid about the measurements, I don't want to order the counter and what if the measurements are wrong... etc... so he came with another guy, took the measurements again... they stayed for about 15 min. He just called me now... he said that he was looking at young girls with triangle bikinis walking in front of him... I said... 'good for you, enjoy'. Then he said he wants me... he wants a woman like me... but the age gap sucks... We have 31 years difference... it's totally ridiculous... He said... 'make a new birth certificate and put 35 years old on it'... LOL I said I wish... anyway... he said he still wants to be serious about us... it's all up to me... he asked me to think about it... REALLY!!!! He is only 23, but when I first saw him, I thought he was in his late 20s, early 30s, he looks older for his age...probably because he is sooo mature, and intelligent.... but the age gap is not negociable in this case... Now I have to think about something to tell him, I don't want to hurt his feelings or anything.. I know he's serious about this... gosshh...
katiebour Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 Lizzie asking for advice on men????? It's cute that he has a crush on you. Would you want him for a boyfriend? I thought you pretty much had your lifestyle figured out. Does he fit into that as anything more than a client? Would he care about your other clients? If women live on average 10 years more than guys, then he would still outlive you by a few decades. He'd be a very sad guy to lose his significant other at 40 or 50. I would bring those points into discussion if I were in your shoes. But it's nice to be liked

No I wouldn't want him for my bf...I don't want anyone.. not just him. He knows what I'm doing.... and I guess he would be fine with it... I don't know, we never discussed that aspect of my life... in fact.. I always laugh when he gets serious about me... He gets frustrated but that's OK... he'll get over it. This is not negociable... he is waaay too young... geezzz he's the same age as my son... 23... and my daughter would have a 'fit' she will be 32 soon... no it is completely ridiculous. When I asked him how would he feel with me in public?... He told me he didn't give a 'hoot' about what people think... he lives his life the way he wants... He's very sweet... but too young... too bad cause I know he will be an amazing bf to a sweet girl someday.
Road Rage Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 Lizzie60 How can he be an amazing boyfriend to a sweet girl if all men cheat?
Author Lizzie60 Posted August 5, 2007 Author Posted August 5, 2007 Lizzie60 How can he be an amazing boyfriend to a sweet girl if all men cheat? Even if a guy cheats, that doesn't mean he is an 'evil' person... My MMs are amazing guys... good fathers, good husbands, good friends... This young guy is a workholic, that's HIS problem... that's why he can't keep a gf... he needs to 'slow down' but he just can't... he's like that... so I guess he would like to move with me cause I would not bother him about his work... and he would have sex all he wants... LOL I'm sure that's what he's thinking. He said he wants a woman just like me... who is independant, and who would not bother him about working so much hours... he said he can't stand the younger girls who only talks about fashion and the latest lipstick... (his words)... he is probably more mature than any 40 yr old I know.

I'm in my late 20s and women my age are STILL talking about fashion, colour of lipsticks, handbags... etc... arrgggghhhh!

Lyssa Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 So what's the conclusion? I'm sure he would still want you no matter what you say....
Author Lizzie60 Posted August 5, 2007 Author Posted August 5, 2007 So what's the conclusion? I'm sure he would still want you no matter what you say.... We haven't spoken since that time... I told him it was ridiculous plus he knows I don't want anyone in my life... but he insisted..and he told me to think about it... So until next time... I have to come up with a more convincing 'NO' LOL
Enema Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 Sounds to me like someone's stalling until the kitchen is done
