He is an assistant manager and at work he's friendly, comes up to talk to me, and he flirts with me sometimes. I even thought he may have had a crush on me because I used to always catch him staring at me. Well anyways the other day on my day off I decided I needed to cash in some bottles at the bottle depot. Well guess who pulls up in his truck about 2 minutes later? It was the guy from work that I thought liked me. Although he said hi, he completely ignored me while we sorted bottles next to each other. I sensed he was uncomfortable, so I quietly collected my money and then left. I don't know why he was acting that way, he was by himself and not with another woman,and as far as I know he isn't married or even dating anyone. Does anyone have any insight to his behavior?
shadowplay Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 something similar happened to me recently. there was a guy who i liked and thought liked me in a class i was taking. then once i ran into outside of the context of the class and he kind of ignored me. that threw me for a loop, but later he ended up asking me out! so you never know. he could just be nervous around you.

sofakingmad Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 it's "safer" for him to flirt with you at work. in public it's game on and the reality of the situation is making him nervous. but i wouldn't worry about it. never $h*t where you eat.
