I make a decent buck and that just turns me off when I first meet a woman. Rings of gold digger. Seems rampant in Toronto women especially. What kind of "" do you like to do is a great way to ask something. Could be fishing, hand gliding or writing short stories ect.

I'm presuming you're still meeting these women on craigslist's dating section. If that's the case, it's presumed that people are there for something more than "just friends." If you're overt with a sexual tone, she will think that's all you want from her. Don't spend too much time on the phone. Get out there and MEET these women. Seems from your posts you need more face-to-face practice anyway.

jcster Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 NO! NO SEXY VIBE!!!! First off, it's very, very difficult to pull off "sexy" in a non-creepy way. And, it has absolutely no place in an initial phone call. If you ask her on a date - then it's a date. She's not going to mistake you for a guy that just wants to be friends. Do yourself a favor, and be friendly and interested in her - put sexy on the back burner for a while.
ash519 Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 Never mention sex. Take the advice of the women here. See, you have to put off more of a non threatening friend vibe. If you find these women in the personals or craigslist and there ad or yours said you are looking for a relationship etc...then they know, it is a 'more than friends' situation. Dont try and be sexy, or mention sex...it is such a turn off when trying to get to know someone. And also, dont talk for months on end. After a few talks you should try and meet at a public place (of course.) If a woman then decides to be just your friend...it is not due to your 'friend vibe'. It is because she isnt interested in more.

Talking about sex the first time you talk to her might get you laid with a girl who's willing to bed a stranger but it won't get you past the one-night stand. More than likely, it will get nothing beyond another girl who immedately thinks "Ewww, perv".
