A few weeks ago I posted about this guy that I really liked who I'd been seeing for about 4 months who disappeared off the face of the earth. Well, I ended up talking to him about a week and a half ago and he let me know that he had been dealing with some pretty bad depression over the past few months and had just kind of snapped and went underground for a while. He apologized for not calling and said he just didn't know how to explain what was going on to me because he didn't even know how to explain it to himself. He said he appreciated that I cared enough to come talk to him and that he'd like to remain friendly with me but just couldn't be with me at the moment. Well, I messaged him through myspace yesterday just to see how he was doing and let him know that I was thinking of him. I asked that he please respond to the message so that I know he's OK. Today I log onto my regular e-mail account and there is a message notifying me that I had recieved a message from him through myspace. So, I log onto myspace to read the message and there is nothing there! There is however and message from a deleted profile that was sent to me at the same time as his message was supposedly sent. I checked and his profile is not deleted and it says that he hasn't logged on since yesterday. What the heck do I do with this? Should I send another message and explain what happened and see if he responds or what?
McFadden Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 It sounds like just a MySpace error, nothing to make a big deal over. I would just message him and tell him you didn't get his reply because of an error.

I just don't know if I will seem like I'm obsessed with contacting him if I send him another message though. What if it was some sort of spam thing and he didn't send me a message at all? I hate technology sometimes!!
McFadden Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 True..but what if he wrote some heartfelt reply or something and he thinks you ignored it. What I would do is if you have another way of contacting him (email ect) tell him 'just to let you know I don't seem to be getting my mail on Myspace because of an error.' That way even if he didn't message you it won't look like you assumed he did..
